Why you should come

Real Scrum

True to our motto "practice what you preach", the ASP-SD course teaches Scrum knowledge AND practical Scrum experience through a mix of theory, exercises and working on a case study.

Real software development

The heart of the ASP-SD course is a case study where participants can directly apply their Scrum knowledge by building real software in Sprints and reflecting on their experiences. This approach presents participants with many of the challenges they face in their daily lives as software developers, making it easier for them to transfer the learning from this course into their daily practice.

Real improvements

One of the core principles of Scrum is continuous improvement, which participants practice with every Sprint during this course. For software development teams, the APS-SD course is the perfect way to create a shared Scrum experience. Ideally, all members of the Scrum team, including the Product Owner and Scrum Master, will attend this course. The team will then be able to smoothly integrate the work rhythm established in the training into their daily routine.

What participants say

★★★★★ Trustpilot review: "Practice-oriented, quickly comprehensible and communicated with fun"

"The goal of participating in the SCRUM training of our team was to develop a common understanding of the framework and the starting point change our way of working within the team.

We had originally planned a face-to-face training, but due to Covid-19 this was not possible. Johannes came up with the idea to do it remotely with us which was a big plus in the end because this is how our team works daily.

We were guided through the theoretical topics in a very structured and competent way and were then able to test our knowledge in practical tasks. In the process we also sharpened our team structure and communication with each other. The tools used for the training were very well chosen and well coordinated by Johannes.

Johannes made the whole training very varied, interactive and with a strong practical focus. This is exactly what helps us now to modify our way of working and to really apply the acquired knowledge. Already during the training we were able to name some of our impediments more concretely and also decide together - with the support of Johannes - how to approach them.
Johannes managed very well to mix work with a good portion of fun which was also very motivating!

I am very happy that Johannes will continue to support us and I can highly recommend working together with him – not only in trainings but also as a coach."

★★★★★ Trustpilot review: "Experiencing Scrum through..."

"Experiencing Scrum through a series of Sprints was excellent! We even increased the complexity. Another thing I particularly liked was the breadth of aspects, ranging from values to practices. Johannes created beautiful posters, and provided a great handout for self-study and recommend other scrum.org resources. Last but not least, without giving away too much here: The beginning was a big surprise! All I say is "Beware of raw chicken…". Thank you, Johannes!"

★★★★★ Trustpilot review: "This Scrum training was quite an experience!"

"This Scrum training was quite an experience, I learnt many things, but I like to share this one: Doing sprints in a training setup was for me an eye-opener on what not Done really means, and by this, I have a better notion of how to deliver something that is Done. Thank you for this great experience!"
